1. Can you tell us a little about your book?

Road and Tales is a fiction based on different people who meet on the roads. Talks a lot about the bike riders and their life styles. Each chapter is about a different ride or experiences of people which brings out different kids of emotions. And what happens when they meet in an unusual incident. The book talks about relationships, adventures, rides, travel, problems faced by women, equality, religious beliefs and more.

2. Is there a specific event that inspired this story or was this an out of the blue idea?

I had been into adventure motorcycling for the past few years. The stories are based on lives of people that have met on the roads with some fiction added. Most of them are my personal experiences and experiences of few other riders that I have met.

3. What got you writing in the first place?

I have really met a lot of inspiring people in all these years of travel. Travelling made me a better man I feel. I wanted a forum to share my experiences and tell people the stories that the road had given me. I thought a book would be a better way.

4. What was your impression of your first draft when you read it?

I wrote some 70 pages initially. But after few months of travelling my opinion on a lot of things changes. I was totally a different person then. I totally discarded it and began from first with a different set of stories. And now this final version as an experiment. Let us see how it goes.

5. Which part of your story connects the most with you? Why?

Everything that talks about different rides and their life style of riders.

6. What makes your book the one to read?

This book cannot fit into just one genres. This book walks you through the lives of a lot of people in different situations; most of whom you can relate to in your daily life.

Read a lot before you write.

Velpari by Su.Venkatesan

9. What is your evergreen tip to the writers out there?

Read more. Travel more. Empathize with people from different walks of life.

10. What was your hardest scene to write?

Writing a humor was always tough. What I thought was exciting the first time I wrote seemed to be too silly when I read the second time.

11. Do you have another plot brewing?

Yes. This being my first book, I would like to see I how well I can connect to people through my writing. I really think reviews from different people would help me with this. I would translate this book into Tamil if I get good reviews and responses for the book.
